Ready to see a positive change in your 7-to-12-year-old?

It’s possible in just FOUR DAYS with

+ Focus & Self Control

A

Your child tackles their homework with the focused work ethic they practice in martial arts.  Teachers give reports of your child excelling, and, most importantly, your child is balanced and happy

“And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.  If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking.  Don’t settle.  As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
–Standford University commencement address delivered by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, on June 12, 2005

ully-Proof Confidence

B

Your child learns the appropriate, non-violent steps to deal with nasty people.  They train on those steps and learn what to do if the other person does try to physically hurt them.

“I like the way that I am.”
–the students of Lund Martial Arts Academy when confronted with unkindness

ompletely Happy, Healthy Kids

C

When a child finds the place that’s just right for them, they feel GREAT!  When they are learning both physical skills and developing character that makes them proud of who they are, it shows as happiness and success both inside and outside of martial arts class.  You’ll see right away if your child is going to be the next kid to build themselves into something greater than they ever imagined using their training at Lund Martial Arts Academy as their tool.

“Create yourself.”
–official tagline of Lund Martial Arts Academy

elf-Defense That Actually Works

S

When Lund Martial Arts Academy first opened its doors in October of 2004, we knew strictly traditional Taekwondo, and we knew that Taekwondo had no real answer for what to do if you got punched in the head (that’s against the rules!) or if you fell down (that stops the match!). We also knew that both of those things were really likely to happen in a real-life self-defense scenario, we knew we needed to make a change

To address our striking deficiency, we looked to the Thais: the best strikers in the world.  We added Muay Thai to our curriculum, spent years training, and took multiple trips to Thailand to make it just right for our students.

We also added Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and basic wrestling technique to cover the very real possibility that you may need to defend yourself on the ground.  Many years were spent training in intense “fighter gyms” to transfer their effective technique to our always clean, always family-friendly Academies.

To maintain the “art” portion of “martial arts,” we kept a handful of one-of-a-kind Taekwondo-style forms to practice balance and coordination.  But don’t worry—we don’t touch that stuff until students excel at the basics of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: the fundamentals of self-defense that actually works!

Who?

Children Ages 7 – 12

➤ Register early: spots fill quickly and are reserved on a first come, first served basis!

➤ The youngest we accept students is seven years old. We teach real martial arts (not a watered-down version!) and we’ve found that students get the most out of martial arts when they are at least seven years old. If you have a young child, we’d love to have them try martial arts with us after they turn seven!

What?

Our Guarantee to You:

At Lund Martial Arts Academy, we understand that martial arts training may not be for everyone.  But when it’s a good match and done right, it can be the most powerful force of positive growth imaginable.  We’d like you to look at giving martial arts a try like buying a car.  It might look great in pictures and it could have an amazing description, but you wouldn’t buy it without first giving it a test drive!  Likewise, we wouldn’t ask you to decide if training with us in martial arts is right for you until you give us a test drive!  Just like with a car, we’re offering you this for free.  For children ages seven through twelve, our test drive is our ABCs of Martial Arts course.  It’s our guarantee that we will take great care of you during your free trial whether you decide to continue training or not.  After all, you have nothing to lose and so much to gain!
